Congratulations to our Masters in Applied Economics Graduates of 2017
14 August, 2017
On Thursday, 27 July 2017, the festive halls of CERGE-EI’s Schebek Palace witnessed the MA in Applied Economics Graduation Ceremony.
Eva Hromádková, the program director, gave a warm opening address highlighting
the qualities of each student as she got to know them through their CERGE-EI journey.
This was followed by speeches from Michal Kejak, CERGE-EI director, who kindly welcomed the students to CERGE-EI’s alumni community, and by Susan E. Walton, CEO of Reaction Digital Media Ltd and a board member of the CERGE-EI Foundation, who advised the graduates to seek their “third dimension” – an interest out of work and studies that would enable them to contribute to the world and make them more interesting to people potentially important for their career.
Finally, we heard speeches from two of our new graduates, acknowledging the past year as a truly enriching experience during which they benefited not only
from the program curriculum but also from the diversity of the student cohort
and the generous support of CERGE-EI’s staff.
The Graduation Ceremony concluded with the presentation of diplomas.
We congratulate our new MA in Applied Economics graduates and wish them all best in their future endeavors.
