Filip Matějka Has Received the Consolidator Grant from the European Research Council

Filip Matějka, a researcher and member of the CERGE-EI faculty, has received the prestigious Consolidator Grant from the European Research Council. The project "Attention" continues to explore the imperfections of human decision-making and its impact on society. The Czech economist succeeded in competing with more than two and a half thousand applications from 23 countries.

The Spirit of Giving Back at CERGE-EI

A few days ago we were excited to announce the names of the first two students to receive the Alumni Excellence Fellowships. As of today, we are launching the second call for alumni donations to the CERGE-EI Student Support Fund in the hope that we will be able to grant fellowships to more excellent students next year.

CERGE-EI Represented at Conferences on Education, Industry 4.0 and COVID-19

CERGE-EI researchers have been invited to share their expert opinions at various public events recently. Štěpán Jurajda, Daniel Münich, and Václav Korbel were among the speakers of The Prague Education Festival. Štepán Jurajda had a presentation at the online forum organized by the Czech Confederation of Industry. Julie Chytilová and Jakub Steiner took part in a debate about the Covid-19 pandemic.

Time to Apply for the MA or PhD Program

30 November, 2020

Starting tomorrow, December 1st, students can submit their applications for the Master in Economic Research and PhD in Economics study programs. The last day of November is the deadline for getting the benefits of the early bird applications for the Master in Applied Economics. However, admissions remain open.
