Christian Ochsner Awarded for His Study on Populism

CERGE-EI Assistant Professor Christian Ochsner and his colleague Felix Roesel from the ifo Institute in Dresden have been awarded a prize by the Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research in Mannheim (ZEW) for their study on populism.

MAE Students Presented Their Final Projects

On Thursday, 11 July, students of Master in Applied Economics (MAE) program wrapped up their work on the Project Seminar with final presentations. This year, they cooperated with marketing data company Nielsen, an analytical unit of rating agency Moody's, and healthcare startup Cogvio.

Economics at Charles University Holds Its Position in the Top 100

Charles University has been recognized as holding a position among the top 100 universities in economics by the 2019 Global Ranking of Academic Subjects. This is the third consecutive year that Charles University has held this ranking and the first year that the economics field is the sole representative of Charles University across all departments.
