Boris A. Borozan is a Managing Partner at Global Sovereign Advisors. He is leading consulting projects and providing strategic advice to the top management of Reserve Managers and Sovereign Wealth Funds.

Prior to Global Sovereign Advisors, as a Global Head of the Central Bank business at HSBC he was responsible for setting and executing strategy and all business with Central Banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Monetary Authorities, Sovereign Pension Funds and Multilateral Agencies and he worked in London, Hong Kong and New York.

From 1994 until he joined the HSBC Group in 2000, Mr. Borozan was Managing Director, Head of the Yankee And Central Bank Group at Paine Webber, in New York and London. Prior to Paine Webber, Mr. Borozan was Managing Director, Head of The Financial Institutions Business for the Americas at WestLB in New York.

Mr. Borozanʼs career began in Corporate Finance at Morgan Stanley in New York. He has held numerous executive positions in International Finance, Sales, Mortgage Banking, and Trading and has worked in London, Paris, Hong Kong and Tokyo in addition to New York.

Mr. Borozan is a Trustee of ICHD – International Center For Human Development, Member of the Advisory Board of the “The Reinventing Bretton Woods Committee,” Member of Economics Club of New York and Member of the Comanche Public Library Foundation Board.

He holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania, an M.S. in Informational Sciences from Columbia University in New York and an M.S. in Nuclear Physics from Belgrade University in Yugoslavia.

Mr. Borozan speaks Russian, German, Spanish, Serbian, Croatian and Bosnian. He is a Sea Master and was a member of national rowing team. He has three children and lives with his family in New York City.
