CERGE-EI students can apply for accommodation in Charles University dormitories, which are generally located in the suburbs, about 30 minutes from CERGE-EI by public transport. The cost is approximately CZK 4,000 per month for a bed in a double room.

CERGE-EI books dormitory places for first-year students depending on their interest. Second-year students apply for dormitory places individually through the Charles University booking system each year. Most of CERGE-EI students live in Hostivař dormitory.

At the moment, there is only one dormitory within the Charles University that offers single rooms, and it is usually full. Students in their second year can apply for a single room, but it cannot be guaranteed.

Prices for private accommodation in Prague vary greatly depending on quality and location. First-year students are advised to opt for the dormitory, as CERGE-EI cannot assist students to rent private apartments.

Students of the Master in Economic Research (0311A050010) study program are eligible to apply for the Charles University accommodation stipend to cover part of their living expenses.
