Faculty & Staff

Students in the Master of Economic Research interact on the daily basis with a number of CERGE-EI people. The role of all these people is to make your stay at CERGE-EI as enjoyable and productive as possible.

Faculty: Most CERGE-EI courses are taught by internal faculty. Our faculty members have acquired their PhD at prestigious universities such as Harvard, Princeton or the London School of Economics and Political Science, and are active researchers and excited teachers. The full list of faculty members can be found here. Certain selected courses, typically in the second year, are taught by external faculty and policy/industry professionals. Exercise sessions are run by teaching assistants recruited from our PhD program.

Academic Skills Center: The goal of the center members is to make sure your English impeccable, be it writing, speaking or presenting. The full list of the center members can be found here.

Study Affairs Office: The people at the SAO make sure all the formalities are taken care of and are happy to provide help and advice regarding all kind of possible issues you might encounter throughout your study. The full list of the office members can be found here.
