Bounded Rationality in Choice Conference (BRIC) 2021

BRIC 2020 banner 570x200 0207 2

The conference brings together researchers in choice theory, experimental economics and behavioral economics who are interested in how bounds on rationality play out in individual decisions and interactive situations.

The organizing committee has decided to cancel BRIC 2020 conference in Prague due to ongoing travel complications. Instead, Prague will host BRIC in the late spring of 2021.

New submissions will be elicited. Those who have submitted in 2020 and interested in presenting in 2021 can move their 2020 submissions to the 2021 call. The outcomes of screening of the papers in the 2020 season will inform the 2021 acceptance decisions.

BRIC 8

BRIC stands for Bounded Rationality in Choice, the name of the first conference that Paola Manzini and Marco Mariotti organised in St Andrews in 2013. It has now turned into an annual meeting, welcoming papers on topics related to bounded rationality in choice. The now usual format has no parallel sessions or invited speakers. Following the success of the poster session at BRIC 2019, we welcome submissions for both standard and poster presentations.

The scientific committee consists (in addition to the local organisers) of the core, enthusiastic supporters of the project since the very beginning: Jose Apesteguia, Miguel Angel Ballester, Andrew Caplin, Paola Manzini, Marco Mariotti, Yusufcan Masatlioglu, Efe Ok, Ariel Rubinstein, and Yuval Salant. The local organizer for BRIC 2020 in Prague is Jakub Steiner.
