Academy of Sciences Podcast LIVE: Julie Chytilová and Michal Bauer
We would like to invite you to the live recording of the Czech Academy of Sciences podcast (conducted in Czech language) with CERGE-EI researchers Julia Chytilová and Michal Bauer, who focus on topics in behavioral economics, development economics, and experimental economics in their research. They study issues related to pressing social challenges such as the impacts of poverty on human decision-making, the causes and consequences of wartime conflicts, ethnic discrimination, and factors influencing social and antisocial behavior. Together with colleagues from both the Czech Republic and abroad, they conduct data collection through economic experiments among relevant population samples, often in the field, in countries such as Uganda, Kenya, Georgia, and India. Their work is published in leading academic journals and has received several national and international awards.
The podcast will be recorded in both video and audio formats, and it will be moderated by Jitka Kostelníková.
