Prof. Jan Zápal is an expert in political economics and economic theory. He’s an Associate Professor with tenure and the Academic Director of our Master’s in Economic Research. He teaches Applied Microeconomics I: Markets and Governments. His research interests include political economics, economic theory, dynamic bargaining models, and behavioral political economics.

- Energy-intensive industries are shrinking, and slowing globalization is straining exports.
- As Europe’s largest economy stalls, what does this mean for its neighbours — and what can revive growth?
