Time: 18:00-20:00
Date: Monday, 27 March 2017

In this course you will learn how to use an up-to-date package called “tidyr” to organize data in order to make data analysis much easier and more efficient. During the lesson, you will be offered various exercises for practice.

Prerequisities:

1. Prior knowledge of dplyr package is preferred but is not completely necessary.

2. It is necessary to install RStudio into your laptop before you come to the class. RStudio can be downloaded with no cost from the Internet.

Course outline:

  • Preview of the concept of "pipe" (dplyr package).
  • Tidy up data by using "tidyr" package, such as gather(), spread(), etc.
