“When I was searching for a master's program, CERGE-EI stood out for its reputation of having an experienced international faculty and a strong focus on the applied side of economics. Even in my first semester, I’ve already seen how the professors bring their own research into the classroom, offering valuable insights into real-world projects. It’s refreshing to be in a program that doesn’t just emphasize theory but focuses on teaching us how to work with data and conduct meaningful research."

Magdalena Zucek, Student

“Master in Economic Research at CERGE-EI fuses together two highly valuable elements: in-depth training in mathematics and econometrics, and exposure to the frontier of scientific knowledge
in economics. This, alongside plentiful opportunities to get hands-on experience with research, makes CERGE-EI an ideal place to begin one’s journey as an academic economist.”
