The Master in Economic Research at CERGE-EI is a 2-year full time Charles University Master’s program, taught in Prague, Czech Republic. The courses equip students with useful and readily applicable knowledge of how the economy works, and have a specific focus on public policy. The program further allows students to acquire wide spectrum of skills in data science, coding and English professional-level writing and preseting. We facilitate internship and employment opportunities throughout the program. At the end of the second year, students defend their thesis.

In the Charles University system, the program has two versions registered under '0311TA050010' and '0311TA050011' codes (make sure to choose the right code when applying). The admission criteria, courses offered and completion requirements are identical in the two versions, with the level of tuition fees being the only difference between them.
