Public Debate "Economic History of Ukraine 1991-2016"

In 2016 Ukrainians are poorer than they were in 1991.

Why is it so difficult for the second largest country in Europe, with nearly 100 percent literacy rate, an advanced aerospace industry and the most fertile soil in the world, to recover its economic strength?

Moderated by Andrei Kirilenko (Visiting Professor of Finance, Imperial College London)
