International Food Party

At the beginning of the academic year, the CERGE-EI courtyard becomes a buffet of traditional food and drinks from around the world. As the student body has become more diverse over the years, so has the variety of flavours: taste “bryndzové halušky“ from Slovakia, Ukrainian “boršč”, Czech “nakládaný hermelín”, Russian fish salad, and good Georgian wine or Ethiopian coffee. Join the International Food Party and delight your senses.

Graduation Gala

During the intensive study it is easy not to fully notice that we are headquartered in a Palace. June, 2013 kicked off a new tradition at CERGE-EI, the Graduation Gala which sheds a completely different light on the Schebek Palace. The red-carpet event welcomes the whole “extended” CERGE family: students, faculty, staff, alumni, affiliates and friends, for an unforgettable evening. Make sure you do not miss the opportunity to see CERGE-EI in its full colours.

Coffee Breaks

Cake is a great way to bring people together, so each week we offer a selection of teas, coffee and cakes at CERGE-EI. It's a relaxed gathering and provides a great opportunity for students, academics and staff to meet and chat. The event is organized by CERGE-EI students and all are welcome to attend.

Parties are a great way to meet people, socialize out of class and have fun! Throughout the year, CERGE-EI hosts a range of parties for its students, staff, professors and alumni. Beer parties are held four times a year during each semester and in the summer whilst the holiday party and wine party are held once a year. All are welcome to attend, so why not come along and join the fun!

Keep up with CERGE-EI events by joining us on Facebook and reading our Blog.
