After a year and a half of renovations, CERGE-EI’s library opened its doors to the public again on 4 March, 2024.

We are thrilled to announce that Sinara Gharibyan, a CERGE-EI PhD student, won the Young Scholar Award at the recent Conference on the Political Economy of Democracy and Dictatorship in Münster.

Do you wonder what it is like to study at CERGE-EI? On February 29 you have a chance to join our students at their regular class of Computational Macroeconomics by Ctirad Slavík, Ph.D.  You can attend the course in person or join us online.

Daniel Němec from Masaryk University has been elected the new President of the Czech Economic Society for the period 2024-2026. Mariola Pytliková from CERGE-EI is the new Vice-President.
