The Learned Society of the Czech Republic brings together prominent scientists working in the Czech Republic.

CERGE-EI and the Czech National Bank are sponsoring a conference on real-time data analysis, methods, and applications in macroeconomics. The conference will take place in Prague in March 2025. The call for papers is now open.

The podcast series Talking Economics Emerging Scholars is dedicated to showcasing the research and inspiring journeys of CERGE-EI PhD in Economics graduates. Our next guest is Daniil Kashkarov. His research interests lie in macroeconomics and labor economics, with a focus on life-cycle modeling, skills accumulation, and the adaptation of workers to labor market disruptions.

The Economics Institute of the CAS has joined the proposal of the Institute of Thermomechanics of the CAS and will support Ing. Jiří Plešek, CSc., Deputy Director of the Institute of Thermomechanics in his candidacy for the position of President of the CAS for the term of office 2025-2029.
