With profound regret, CERGE-EI announces that Zdeněk Pertold, Professor Emeritus at the Institute of Geochemistry, Mineralogy and Mineral Resources, Faculty of Science, Charles University, passed away on October 26, 2020, aged nearly 87 years.

In comparison with 1800 other universities worldwide, Charles University has held on to its 210th position from last year. Economics maintained its good position in the subject ranking.
