Spring Semester 2017, the Economics Discovery Hub

Are you ready to improve your skills in 2017? The Economics Discovery Hub’s spring semester commences next week. Choose from a wide range of courses and workshops that are all for free.

• First Meeting iekonomie.cz - Discussion about Markets and Taxi Service Regulations (Monday, 6 February, 2017 at 18:30)
• Data Visualization with Tableau (Tuesdays at 17:00, 21 February - 14 March, 2017)
• Introduction to Machine Learning (Thursdays at 18:00, 23 February - 13 April, 2017)
• Introduction to R Programming (Monday, 6 March and Tuesday, 7 March, 2017 at 18:00)
• Mastering Excel Basics (Thursdays at 18:30, 9 March - 30 March, 2017)
• Introduction to Python (Tuesdays at 17:00, 21 March - 11 April, 2017)
• Intermediate R Programming (Monday, 27 March, 2017 at 18:00)

Activities are usually in English and take place at CERGE-EI (Politických vězňů 7, Prague 1).

Places are limited so make sure to register for the activities that interest you.

The Economics Discovery Hub is a free exploratory platform organized by the CERGE-EI graduate study programs (MA in Applied Economics and PhD in Economics). Its aim is to aid student development and skills improvement. The activities are open to students with any background.
