Bachelor’s Program in Economics of Markets and Organizations

Applications are now open for the new bachelor’s degree program Economics of Markets and Organizations, jointly offered by the Faculty of Business Administration (FPH VŠE) and the Center for Economic Research and Graduate Education – Economics Institute (CERGE-EI).

This interdisciplinary program combines the economic and business expertise of both institutions and addresses key contemporary challenges such as growing market concentration, technological transformation, and a changing global economy.

Students gain a comprehensive understanding of the economic principles that shape markets and industries, with an emphasis on market dynamics, competition, and industry structures. The program equips graduates with the analytical tools and strategic thinking needed to solve complex economic problems and design effective solutions for both the public and private sectors.

Program details:

  • Duration: 6 semesters (3 years)
  • Language of instruction: English
  • Teaching split: 60% by FPH VŠE, 40% by CERGE-EI
  • Tuition fee: 5,000 EUR per year
  • Application deadline: February 28 (1st intake) / April 30 (2nd intake)

The application process has just started. The deadlines will be in two rounds: February 28 (1st intake) and April 30 (2nd intake). Admission results will be announced by March 31, 2026 (1st intake) or May 26, 2026 (2nd intake). Successful applicants who meet all conditions may be notified earlier.
